Thunstedt Family || LaCrosse WI family + portrait photographer

This past fall, I had the immense privilege of doing some photos for the sweet Thunstedt family! I love the colors they chose for their outfits, and the weather couldn't of been any better. (yay for golden lit evenings!) Enjoy a few of my favorites from their session.

"Oh I wonder what God
Was thinking
When he created you
I wonder if he
Knew everything I would need
Because he made all my dreams come true
When God made You
He must have been thinking about me"

- when God made you, newsong

This past August, I had the immense privilege of shooting Daniel and Karin's big day. Every detail about their wedding was so gorgeous! The lovely vintage and purple theme, to the Scottish "high tea" reception. One thing that stands above all else to me in my memories of the day, was the glory that was given to God. It is so amazing to witness couples who choose to glorify God with their relationship and wedding, just how much he blesses it!

The saturday their wedding took place was probably the hottest weekend of the year. The whole bridal party was immense troopers though and all smiles for photos!

Daniel and Karin, thank you for allowing me the joy and honor of photographing your big day. May your lives continue to shine and glorify the father as he was at your wedding!!

The bride's aunt did all the flowers- talk about talent!! Love the purple roses she chose.

The first look. You guys, moments like this just get me emotional, and remind me why I love shooting weddings so much - the joy, the anticipation. So sweet to watch the couple quietly, as they see each other for the first time, ready to get married.

And the prayers. Oh the prayers. Up holding the couple and each other as they prepare to go the the altar. Such a holy and powerful moment.

The music throughout the whole ceremony was amazing!  Such heartfelt praise.

The couple did a cord binding during the ceremony, signifying the scripture that says "a three stranded cord is not easily broken." God, and each other.

Married bliss.

The lavender send off was such a fun way for them to leave!

Karin, you are gorgeous.
